Orient Ceramics and Industries Ltd (OCIL), one of the largest manufacturers of tiles for walls, floors and facades, has opened its ‘Europa Boutique’ in Delhi. The COCO (company-owned, company-operated) store at the GK-II market is spread over an area of 3,000 sq.ft.
“We have opened this boutique to give a perfect experience to customers. Our intentions is not to snatch away the business of our dealers; we have opened the boutique so that people can experience our complete range of products,” says Madhur Daga, executive director, OCIL.
The company plans to open three more boutiques (in the COCO format) in Faridabad, Chandigarh and Kolkata in the coming months. “The company expects the Delhi store to start generating ROI in the coming six months,” adds Daga.
OCIL has major retail expansion plans. The company intends to have 100,000 sq.ft of retail area by the end of the current fiscal.
