Prozone Aurangabad to open on October 8

Retail real estate company Prozone will be opening its first mix used property on October 8 at Aurangabad. Prozone Aurangabad is a development of over 1 million sq ft, including a shopping centre, hotel and office blocks.

Prozone claims to be India’s first horizontally designed mall (spread over ground plus first floor) and designed with a comfortable and convenient layout for ease of shopper navigation.

Among the anchors at the mall are Tata’s hypermarket format Star India Bazaar, which is spread over an area of 80,000 sq ft on a single level. Other big box retailers to open at the mall are Shoppers Stop, Westside, Pantaloons, Globus, Reliance Trends and Croma. Various fashion and lifestyle brands that will be part of the mall are Provogue, Nike, Reebok, United Colors of Benetton, Wills Lifestyle, Allen Solly, Puma, Metro, Inc 5, Regal, Walkways and Catwalk.

Apart from the retail brands Prozone will also have a 5-screen Satyam Cineplexes and a food court with a seating capacity of over 700 people. Orama, a family entertainment centre, will also be present in the mall, and will cover an area of 40,000 sq.ft.

Vishal Mirchandani, president, Prozone Asset Management, stated, “Customer comfort is defined by how well kept the mall is and how safe they feel in an environment. Prozone has appointed the best-in-class service providers with the latest technologies for their housekeeping and security requirements.”

Prozone is a joint venture development between Provogue (India) Limited and Capital Shopping Centres Group Plc, the UK’s leading shopping centre developer (formerly called Liberty International Plc).
