Raghu Pillai has rejoined Future Group on October 5 as chief executive officer, Future Value Retail (FVRL). FVRL operates the Big Bazaar stores and Food Bazaar chains of stores, among other formats. He was formerly director and CEO (operations, strategy and business development) of Reliance Retail.
Pillai has spent 15 years in retail industry. He left Reliance Retail after completing a stint of four-and-a-half years over there. Prior to Reliance Retail, he worked with Pantaloon Retail as its MD.
