In what could be termed as cashing in on the twin-buying trend, Indian kidswear brand, Lilliput, has added a line of baby care products to its retail offer. The product portfolio comprises shampoos, bath oils, powders, lotions and soaps, including daily staples like wipes, cleaning and laundry liquids. Each product also has a herbal variant, which contains ingredients, like chamomile, eucalyptus, honeysuckle and aloe vera extracts, jojoba oil, shea butter, herb essence and green tea. Commenting on the venture, Sanjeev Narula, Managing Director, Lilliput Kidswear Ltd says, “Baby care market in India has experienced growth over the past few years due to the changing consumer mindset and increasing penetration of baby care products. Factors like, rise in disposable income, superior product availability and increasing awareness, have significantly revolutionised the baby care industry. This compelled us to foray into the baby care market.”
