With the aim to offer best deals to customers in this festive season, DLF Promenade mall, Delhi has begun a Diwali festival. During the fest, which began on October 9 and will continue till November 5, most retailers at the mall are offering irresistible discounts to customers.
Some of the main features of the festival are great discounts, jewellery exhibition, women’s ‘pamper zone’, and live performances, among other things. Speaking exclusively to IndiaRetailing about the festival, Pushpa Bector, vice-president, DLF Promenade, said, “We want to give a unique experience to customers every time they come to the mall. So, each weekend there is a different activity. We have a Diwali mela, a kids’ carnival, Gourmet Bazaar by La Marche and 24-hour shopathon, among other things.”
She added, “We at DLF Promenade are driven to offer the best deals and activities to our patrons. We are really looking forward to a great level of participation by all age groups of customers.”
On the expected increase in footfalls during the month-long festival, she said, “We witness a footfall of 25,000-plus during weekdays and 40,000-plus during weekends. With efficient marketing strategies, we are sure during Diwali celebrations we will be able to attract more people to the mall, making it a real hub of shopping and fine food options. We expect an approximate increase of 10,000 in footfalls.”
Maintaining that the expectations from the event are high, she said, “Our motto is customer satisfaction – which would be the biggest revenue earned by us.”
