Footballer David Beckham and his wife, former Spice girl, Victoria, have teamed up to launch his own range of menswear.
Posh, 36, has managed to get Becks, 35, to join her in designing his own line of smart evening wear for her clothing label, for the upcoming 2011 collection.
“Victoria has been trying to persuade him to do it for a while and he’s finally succumbed,” the Daily Star quoted a source as saying. “She’s reassured him that he has an eye for fashion,” added the source.
The England ace has already started working on his autumn/winter 2011 collection. “David is hoping to produce a range of men’s couture clothing of fitted suits, smart day wear and an evening range – and Victoria thinks it will go down a storm,” the source reported.
Meanwhile, Posh is working on her fifth season and is going from strength to strength.
