Max opens doors in Oshiwara

Middle-East based value fashion brand Max, launched its first store at Mega Mall, Oshiwara, Mumbai. Offering world-class fashion and style at surprisingly affordable pricing, Max has emerged as a leading choice for the value-conscious customers who are exposed to global standards and look for similar high quality and style while shopping. The value-fashion chain is currently present in Mumbai at Navi Mumbai (Vashi, Kharghar), Mulund West and Bhayander.

The new Max store promises to be a one-stop shop for latest fashion buys at pocket-friendly prices  ranging between Rs. 199-599. The product portfolio offers a gamut of choices for the entire family ranging from trendy apparel to footwear and accessories for men, women and kids in a truly delightful shopping environment. Spread across a retail space of 8,500 sq feet and two floors, the store with its lively, colourful interiors, imported fixtures and customer-friendly layout provides a truly international look and feel.

Commenting on this occasion, Vasanth Kumar, Executive Director, Max said, “Max is currently the largest value retailer in the country. We are the pioneers of value fashion retail in the country and aim to take our offering to customers across the nation, including all metros and key tier II and tier III cities. We currently have 30 stores across India and plan to take it to 60 stores by 2011-12.”

Sharing his views on the growth strategy of the brand, C.S. Shekar, Chief Operating Officer, Max added, “We hope to grow Max as a brand synonymous with the growing population of global Indians who are trendy and fashion conscious, but at the same time, intelligent shoppers, who seek value for money. We hope our first store in Oshiwara will be welcomed, and as well accepted as our other stores in Mumbai and across India.”

Working with an in-house team of designers who have several years of experience in the retail fashion industry, Max sources its merchandise from India and overseas. Launched in early 2004 in the Middle East, Max offers merchandise designed as per the latest international fashion trends.
