JAFRA Ruchi Cosmetics forays into Indian market

The US-based cosmetic brand, JAFRA Cosmetics International, Inc., has ventured into India through a strategic joint venture between the Ruchi Group and the parent company – Vorwerk KG & Co. Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen has been appointed as the brand ambassador of the brand at a press conference held in New Delhi on November 22, 2010. According to Johan Wicklund, Jt Managing Director, JAFRA Ruchi Cosmetics India says, “We are extremely delighted to bring JAFRA in India in partnership with the Ruchi Group. This association helps us reduce the learning curve considerably and gives us the right leverage to expand into every part of the country effectively.”
