Evolve, a joint venture of The Yash Birla Group and Singapore-based Pacific Healthcare Holding Ltd, has opened two new Med Spa centres in Mumbai. Located at Borivali and Worli, the centres provide a wide range of advanced cosmetic and dermatologist treatment along with consultation services.
On the launch of the new centres, Dr Abhijit Desai, MD, Evolve Med Spa, said, “So far, we have received good response from our existing centres. We see a lot of potential in this segment today as youngsters with disposable incomes are demanding a healthier lifestyle.”
He further said, “Growing disposable incomes and the need for beauty enhancement treatments have led the cosmetic industry to grow by 25 per cent. In order to capitalise on this opportunity, we are spreading our wings to satisfy the needs of young individuals.”
Evolve plans to have multiple centres located in Mumbai and other metros with an investment of over Rs.50 crore. The company aims at touching all metros and upcoming tier II cities to reach out to the ever-growing youth and the emerging middle class in these cities.
As a means to expand its presence in the market, Evolve Med Spa is considering to introduce 55 cosmetic centres at various locations across the country such as Delhi, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur, Goa and Ahmedabad, among other cities.
Evolve has a qualified panel of doctors who perform surgeries using state-of-the-art equipment that provides patient-centric solutions and offers modern and safe treatments. The company opened its first Med Spa centre in Mumbai in April 2008.
