Kerala-based Kalyan Jewellers has entered Andhra Pradesh by announcing the launch of its first outlet in Hyderabad. Spread over an area of 15,000 sq.ft, the store at Panjagutta will be the biggest Kalyan Jewellers store in India.
Informing that the new store will open on December 16, 2010, T S Kalyanaraman, chairman and managing director of Kalyan Group, said, “The store will allow us to expand our reach to highly fashionable and traditional jewellery consumers of this region. Our customers will have the possibility to discover the Kalyan jewellery universe.” Kalyan Group is the holding company for Kalyan Silks, Kalyan Sarees, Kalyan Jewellers and Kalyan Collections.
Kalyan Jewellers has a chain of 20 stores spread across Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The Group plans to open 21 new stores, including seven in Andhra Pradesh, by the end of calendar year 2011.
