American sandwich chain Quiznos signed a master franchise agreement with FoodCo Inc. to open 15 outlets in Kuwait. Over the next two years, Quiznos plans to grow the brand’s international footprint to more than 40 countries and territories.
"Our primary focus in ensuring the best opportunity for success in a new international market is joining forces with individuals and organisations with proven industry experience, established local infrastructure and exceptional business acumen in the country where they operate," Lee Vala, Quiznos international chief development officer, said.
Quiznos, a subsidiary of QIP Holder LLC, has nearly 4,000 restaurants.
