German supplier of fragrances and flavour, Symrise hosted an international perfumers’ meet in the Sultanate of Oman, a country with a history of blossoms, spices and essential oils. The focus of the meeting included the introduction of the new perfumer forum which lets participants share data, insights and ideas from the world of fragrances across national boundaries. The conference witnessed creative presentations and the invitees learned about the history of Arabic scents as well as the relevance of innovations and networks. The event was hosted by Achim Daub, Global President of the Scent & Care division, and his international team: Thomas Dressler, Global Head of Innovation and Creation; Beatrice Favre-Bulle, Senior Vice President of Fragrance Development, Household and Personal Care; and Beatrice Mouleyre, Senior Vice President of Fine Fragrance Creation.
Achim Daub explains, “Our world is constantly growing smaller. International clients expect creative teams that work on a global level and provide the desired results within a short time. We can tackle this task with the help of common goals, multinational perfumers, new approaches to work and an exchange of knowledge and ideas.”
