Australian cafe chain Gloria Jean’s Coffees, which forayed into the Indian market through Dubai headquartered Landmark Group’s hospitality arm Citymax in 2008, has rapid expansion plans to continue growth in India. The coffee chain wants to touch the 200-store mark by 2015, with an investment of over Rs 10 crore already in place, said the company.

“We have established our units at high streets and malls, as our customers have consistently appreciated their ease of accessibility and visibility of our coffee shop in their vicinity,” said Manish Tandon, president, Citymax Hospitality India Pvt Ltd.

Gloria Jean’s Coffees currently has 15 outlets in India present at Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune. The national capital already has three outlets and the fourth one, with a retail space of approximately 1,800 sq.ft, will open soon at Pacific Mall, Tagore Garden.

Gloria Jean’s Coffees also sells merchandise, which includes a range of coffee mugs, travel sippers, coffee plungers, coffee bean packets (200 gm) and other coffee-based accessories.
