Hypermarket retail chain Big Bazaar, a Future Group company, has launched its 18th outlet in West Bengal. The one-level, 22,000 sq.ft store on Diamond Harbour Road in Kolkata will offer apparel, home fashion, footwear, utensils, crockery, electronic appliances, toys, mobiles and delicious bakery items, among other things.
“Having catered to the people of West Bengal through our stores in Asansol, Liluah, Durgapur and Kolkata, we are spreading our wings further in the City of Joy with our newest store. We hope the Diamond Harbour Road outlet will cater to all domestic requirements of customers and become as successful as our other stores,” says Manish Agarwal, GM, sales and merchandising, East, Big Bazaar.
With the opening of the new outlet at Diamond Harbour Road, Big Bazaar now has 145 stores across India.
