Modicare forays into premium skincare market

Direct-selling company Modicare had recently launched Essensual 20 – its premium skincare product range to suit the Indian skin. The Essensual 20 has three new products in the fairness range – a cleanser, a day cream and a night cream. Priced between Rs1200-1500, the range is made from natural extracts like macadamia nut oil and jojoba oil. As per K.K. Modi, chairman, Modicare Limited, this launch signals a fresh and exciting phase for their product line and in this manner, they want to stay focused to meet the needs of the aware and demanding consumer. Modicare’s new product range comes after it had introduced 30 new products across nine categories in its beauty care, personal care and home care segment in September 2009.
