Lakmé unveiled their latest range of color cosmetics for Summer 2011 named as Fantasy Collection on March 9, at preview session at Olive bar & Kitchen, Bandra.
Lakmé’s summer Fantasy Collection is all inspired by nature that includes glossy finishes, glitter and shimmer, aqua greens, floral mid tones. The collection has been co created with Lakmé make-up experts Cory & Clint and Grand Finale designers Gauri & Nainika.
The session witnessed Clint Fernandes and Cory Wallia, Lakmé Make-up Experts, showcasing the looks from the new collection on Lakmé Faces – Lisa Haydon, Amrit Maghera, Shraddha Kapoor and Vipasha Agarwal.
Talking about his inspiration about the new collection, Clint Fernandes said, “For me, the inspiration has been fairy tales – the vivid colors, the shimmery feel and sparkling effect. We have captured these elements in our collection in a manner that makes the colors and textures viable for everyday use as well as for special occasions.”
Cory Wallia shared his view on the looks created, “The looks from the Fantasy Collection are international but adapted for the Indian woman. The colors and styles presented by us are suited for the Indian skin-tone. We have focused on glossy textures and color blocks inspired by nature.”
