Going forward with an aggressive expansion plan, Talwalkars Better Value Fitness Ltd recently launched its health clubs in the cities of Kota, Ujjain and Pune (Kothrud). With these set-ups, Talwalkars has reached 46 towns across India by opening 95 gyms.
“We are extremely happy to open our health centres in these cities. These cities have new commercial and residential complexes coming up, and we anticipate to spread fitness across these markets,” Prashant Talwalkar, CEO, Talwalkars, said.
The company has plans to move into tier-II and III cities of the northern and eastern regions, though not through the franchise route.
