International casual dining chain California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) recently announced the opening of its first airport location in Mexico.
Opened by CPK franchise partner Grupo Calpik, SAPI de CV and operated by Mera Corporation, the new quick-service restaurant is located at Terminal 2 of the Cancun International Airport. The menu features a specialised selection of CPK’s most popular pizzas, salads, soups and sandwiches from the full-service restaurant menu.
Additional full-service CPK restaurants in Mexico are located in Guadalajara, Cancun and the following suburbs of Mexico City: Lomas Verdes, Bosques de Las Lomas, Polanco District, Santa Fe, Coyoacán and Satelite.
Founded in 1985, California Pizza Kitchen Inc currently has 267 restaurants – 207 company-owned and 60 operated under franchise or licence agreements. There are currently 35 restaurants located internationally in China, Japan, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Mexico, South Korea, Guam, India, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates.
