Beginning July this year, Target, one of the biggest discount retailers in the US, will start selling the new ‘Denizen’ denim line for men, women and children in the US. This follows an agreement between Target and denim brand Levi Strauss & Co, which is all set to expand its low-cost ‘Denizen’ brand in the US and Mexico.
Speaking on the occasion, John Anderson, president and CEO, Levi Strauss & Co, said, “Target has a consumer base which seeks modern style at a great value, and Levi’s new denim line, Denizen, offers products that are modern and stylish.”
Trish Adams, senior vice president, apparel and accessories, Target, said, “Target has a consumer base looking for the most sought-after brands at great prices, and Denizen will serve as the perfect complement to their denim collection offering.”
Denizen was launched in China last August with its line of jeans, tops and accessories, and is the first brand by Levi Strauss to be launched outside the US.
