After the success of its first Experience Centre in India, which was launched at Gurgaon last year, consumer durables major Panasonic has introduced the concept in Mumbai. Located on Link Road, Andheri West, the 19,000-sq.ft centre displays a wide portfolio of products from health to personal care and office automation to consumer durables.
“The Experience Centre will serve as a unique platform for our customers to experience state-of-the-art technologies offered by the brand. This exceptional concept makes it possible for customers in Mumbai to experience both recent and futuristic products on offer,” said Daizo Ito, president, Panasonic India, on the launch of the new centre.
On the rationale behind launching Experience Centres, Manish Sharma, director – marketing, Panasonic India, said, “These centres are designed with a vision to strengthen our relationship with the customers. The showroom will provide a platform for the people to experience every product in a manner that adds a new dimension to their business and Panasonic aims to create greater visibility through the experience centre.”
Informing that the company spends roughly Rs.25 crore to open an Experience Centre, Sharma said, “We are confident our experience centres in Gurgaon and Mumbai will provide Indian consumers an opportunity to learn about new technologies. We are now planning to expand this concept to other major markets in India.”
