Philips India has announced the appointment of Nirupam Sahay, senior director, marketing, Philips Lighting India, as the new business head of the lighting division. In his new role, Sahay will be responsible for the complete lighting business in India.

With a career spanning over 17 years, Sahay has extensive experience in sales, marketing and P&L management at Philips, GE Capital, Whirlpool and Asian Paints. He graduated from St Stephen’s College, Delhi and earned his MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
