Jaipur-based jewellery retailer Amrapali has launched a store at Trident Hotel in Mumbai. The new store, Amrapali Fine Jewels, will only showcase gold jewellery, whereas silver work will be on show and purchase at the other stores –Amrapali Silver and Amrapali Heritage.
Spread across 800 sq.ft, Amrapali Fine Jewels has been designed by Mumbai-based interior designer Kaveeta Singh, who chose to blend old-world charm and contemporary design. Taupe walls and pistachio green chairs embellished in gold set the tone for some serious yellow metal shopping. From pendants, chains, earrings to bangles, necklaces, rings and cuff links, Amrapali Fine Jewels houses the entire gamut. The prices start at Rs.7,000 onwards.
Going ahead, Amrapali plans to open another store in Bangalore, segregating gold and silver jewellery between the new and existing stores. The company currently has 28 stores in India, including five in Mumbai.
