Real estate developer Sheth Developers & Realtors has announced the appointment of Sunil Shroff as vice-president, mall operations, of its retail venture Vivacity Mall, which is set for a September 2011 launch.
Shroff, a graduate from Rizvi Catering College, Mumbai and MBA from Welingkar Institute, Mumbai, brings to the table 16 years of experience in the hospitality and mall industry. In his career span, he has serviced big business clients such as Reliance Industries Ltd, Godrej, Balco, Apollo Group of Hospitals, Lilavati Hospital and American School of Bombay, Hewitt and Patni.
JP Biswas, VP, leasing & marketing, Sheth Developers & Realtors, said, “Shroff has been extensively involved with a diverse range of mall operations in his career and will bring in great value and leadership to our retail management services.”
In this position, Shroff will oversee retail relations, engineering, accounts, loss prevention, day-to-day operations and store fit-outs. Prior to joining Vivacity Mall, Shroff worked with prominent names such as Inorbit Mall (Vashi), Raghuleela Mall (Vashi and Kandivali) and Radhakrishna Hospitality Services Ltd.
