To strengthen its presence across the country, lifestyle retail chain JadeBlue has recently launched new stores in Raipur, Bhavnagar, Udaipur and Nagpur. The group is embarking on an aggressive expansion programme with four more store proposed to be opened this year. The new stores are likely to come up in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Surat and Nagpur.
Talking about the expansion plans, Jitendra Chauhan, chairman & managing director, JadeBlue Lifestyle India Ltd, said, “It is an effort to widen our network and create a pan-India presence.”
JadeBlue has been present in a multi-brand retail format so far. However, in a move to extend its reach to customers, it has come up with a new format of retail stores offering in-house brands. The recently launched Raipur and Nagpur stores are the first in this format.
“We have created a very strong backend system to support our in-house brand stores,” said Chauhan. “It offers a good mix of formals, casuals, partywear. We hope to receive the same success in this format as we earlier received in MBO format,” he added.
JadeBlue’s Raipur and Nagpur stores are the first-of-their-kind to operate as exclusive brand outlets (EBO). The new stores offer fashion brands such as Mufti, Spykar, Levi’s, Copperstone and many more in addition to JadeBlue’s in-house brands such as JadeBlue, Metal and JadeBlue Dulha.
Launched in 1995, JadeBlue currently has 11 stores across 10 major cities in India.
