Retail giant Wal-Mart Stores Inc.’s China division has named replacements for two of its senior executives in the country who resigned earlier this month, reports said on Sunday.
The retailer reportedly appointed Mario-Jose Medina as senior vice president and chief financial officer and Del Sloneker as chief operating officer in China.
Medina most recently served as chief executive officer of Walmart Chile. Sloneker previously served as senior vice president in several functions at the company.
Reports also said that the new appointments followed the unexpected resignations of Roland Lawrence as Walmart China’s chief financial officer and Rob Cissell as chief operating officer.
