PVR Ltd, the leading entertainment company in India, has announced the launch of its first four screen multiplex in Udaipur at Celebration Mall. The multiplex will have a capacity of 1150 seats and will provide an exhilarating digital movie experience to the cinegoer of Udaipur.
The launch in Udaipur is a part of PVR’s growth strategy of pan-India expansion and increasing its presence in tier II cities.
Commenting on the launch, Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, joint managing director, PVR Ltd, said, “We are extremely delighted with the launch of PVR Cinemas in Udaipur. We have launched PVR in the city keeping in mind the growing needs of the discerning audience for a quality cinema viewing experience.”
“We have plans to open around 50 screens in the current financial year and expand our geographical presence to new markets like Surat, Vijaywada, Pune, Nagpur and Jallandar,” he added.
With this launch, PVR stands at 146 screens across 19 cities in India.
