The Mumbai-based Svastii Wellness Academy organised a ‘Look and Learn’ free interactive seminar for parlour and spa professionals. The seminar outlined the latest global trends on hair styling and coloring, air brush make-up techniques, massage therapies and salon management for salon professionals. The objective was to create awareness and underlining the importance of education in choosing the right career path.
“Our world class Svastii Wellness Academy is a complete International school, with beauty, hair, spa and a few holistic courses available with international accreditation like CIBTAC and ITEC. These courses will open doors for parlour professionals both in India and abroad. There are enormous opportunities available, as the beauty and wellness sector in India requires around 20,000 trained professionals within the next few years. At present there are about 450 well-trained professionals in the country,” said Vrinda Seddon, Director, Svastii Wellness Academy.
