Suraj Group has announced development of a new lifestyle shopping centre, Plaza in the densely populated, high end residential area of Cambridge layout, Indiranagar. The mall will have an area of 1,50,000 sq. ft. approx, spread over four levels. One level will be dedicated to movies with PVR as the anchor and the other three levels to food and entertainment.
"Since the time we acquired the land we were clear that there is an opportunity to develop a good lifestyle center. The catchment here is affluent without any good retail offering other than the high street of 100 feet road" said S Suresh, Director, Suraj Group.
Property Zone has been appointed as the development and mall managers for the project which is slated to start construction towards the last quarter of 2011. "The center has been conceptualized as an open air development to take advantage of the Bangalore weather," said Sonal Shrivastav, Head Design Development at Property Zone. "Food and entertainment will play an anchor role in the project with a mix of national and international retailers on ground and first floor." adds Sonal.
