Game4u, a game retail store from Milestone Games, has opened its third store in Mumbai at Hamleys, High Street Pheonix Mall. Spread over 500 sq.ft., the outlet offers a range of video games, PC games, consoles, and related accessories.
Speaking on the occasion, Jayont R Sharma, CEO and Chairman of Milestone Interactive Group, said: “Continuing the brand’s strategic expansion into key markets, we are thrilled to open our store at High Street Phoenix for our devoted customers in Mumbai. Hamleys is internationally recognized as one of the top 10 shopping destinations for all type of entertainment products.”
He further added: “We as a company see great opportunity in the organized gaming retail segment in India and plan to contribute towards India’s gaming retail growth.”
Game4u now has five stores in the country, three in Mumbai and one each in Ludhiana and Jalandhar.
Commenting on the expansion plans Sharma said that the company sees tremendous scope in the online shopping business and is currently on an aggressive expansion drive across India. It targets to open 10 stores by 2011 and 50 in the next three years.
Milestone Games is a Milestone Interactive Group company founded in 2009. Its headquarters are in Mumbai. The company houses Milestone’s retail brand, Game4u, and an online portal.
