The Body Shop, UK’s cosmetics and toiletries retailer, has opened five new stores across India. The retailer opened its first outlet in Udaipur and Guwahati along with more stores in Mumbai, Chennai, and Lucknow taking the total store count to 80 in the country. The new stores will stock products across skin care, bath and body, make-up, hair, fragrance, gifts, and accessories.
The outlets will offer promotions, free make-up application and consultation, skincare consultation, and others services in the first month of their launch. The Body Shop also aims to expand its customer base all across the country through its Customer Loyalty program “Love Your Body” offering discounts, special offers, and other privileges throughout the year.
The Body Shop has over 2,500 stores across 60 countries. With over 1, 200 products made with natural ingredients, the brand was awarded the Humane Cosmetic Standard for its Against Animal Testing value. From Brazil to India, The Body Shop trades with 28 Community Fair Trade suppliers across 21 countries sourcing natural ingredients.
