Italian fashion leather brand Blue & Blues has recently opened its second store in Kolkata at City Centre 1. Spread over 1,200 sq.ft., the new outlet stocks products such as wallets, bags, and portfolio bags.
Speaking on the occasion, Praveen Agarwal, Director, Blue & Blues, said: “We are very happy to launch our second store in Kolkata. The launch of this store is a significant achievement for us and underlines the importance of this city for us. Our products are durable, long lasting, of high quality and are true value for money.”
According to Fulvio Rovaris, Co-founder and Creative Director, Blue & Blues, “The products have been designed with the best leather available in the industry. The styles are very modern and go hand-in-hand with the world fashion scene. The collection has been made keeping in mind the woman of today who looks for value for money in the growing, dynamic world of fashion. Each bag from Blue & Blues is uniquely hand-crafted and durable.”
The wallets are priced between Rs 900 and 3,000, while the price range for bags is from Rs 2,300 to 6,000. The starting price for portfolio bags is Rs 4,000.
According to the company officials, with the launch of their second flagship store in Kolkata, the company will open its first store in Delhi in a couple of months. The brand is present across India through a network of shop-in-shops in MBO’s such as Shopper’s Stop, Landmark, Lifestyle, Central, and Ritu Wears. It is also present in standalone stores like Benzer, Options, and Saga. Blue & Blues is present in countries like Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Belgium, Germany, and Spain and will soon enter the UK and US. It has manufacturing facilities in Italy, India, Vietnam, and China.
Conceived by the Italian duo Francesco Lanzaratto and Fulvio Rovaris, Praveen Agarwal bought the brand from Rovaris and brought it to India. Agarwal, however, retained Rovaris as the master technician and designer. Blue & Blues India is credited with introducing the concept of coloured leather products in India.
