Cinépolis India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mexico-based multiplex chain Cinépolis, will open a seven-screen multiplex in Bhopal at Aashima mall. This will mark the entry of the multiple chains in Central India. The multiplex with over 1,400 seats will feature 2k digital screens, 7.1 Dolby Digital audio as well as 3D screens powered by Real-D.
Speaking on the occasion, Milan Saini, Managing Director and Country Head, Cinépolis India, said: “We are excited to announce our seven-screen multiplex in Bhopal and are pleased to partner with Aashima mall. Cinépolis Bhopal will showcase over 35 shows in a single day. Further, the multiplex would also have an in-house Coffee Shop offering food and beverages.

According to the company officials, Cinépolis operates more than 2,600 screens in 11 countries and serves over 115 million patrons annually.
