Videogames retailer Games The Shop has opened its first store in Ahmedabad at AlphaOne mall. This is the retailer’s 10th store in the country. Spread over 600 sq.ft., the new outlet stocks gaming softwares, hardware consoles, and accessories.
Speaking on the occasion, Anand Khemani, Director, Games The Shop, said: “Gaming has already made its mark in Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, and Bangalore with Games The Shop and now we are all set to establish the same in Ahmedabad. The Ahmedabad store is our initiative to bring the world-class shopping experience for gaming products to the customers here. We are sure that the presence of a specialist outlet in the city will help to grow the gaming overall in the city.”
The retailer has outlets in R-City mall, Oberoi mall, Infiniti mall, and Korum mall in Mumbai; Express Avenue mall, Chennai; Inorbit and Pacific mall, Pune; and Mantri mall, Bangalore.
Games The Shop sells games on platforms such as PC, PS3, PS2, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii Nintendo DS and PS Vita.
