KFC, a part of Yum! Restaurants has opened its first outlet in Asansol, West Bengal, on the ground floor of Galaxy mall. The outlet spreads over 3,283 sq.ft.
Speaking on the occasion, Samrat Pal, Marketing Head, Srijan Realty, said: “It is for the first time that KFC has opened in Asansol, earlier people use to visit Kolkata for relishing the finger-licking goodness of KFC’s chicken, but now they can enjoy it in their own hometown. We can see the excitement in people for KFC, and we are really proud that it has first opened in our mall.”
The other QSR chains that have recently opened in the mall include CCD and Dominos. Galaxy mall is also working on having a fine-dining zone.
The total built-up area of the mall is 1,76,185 sq.ft. Currently, the occupancy percentage for Galaxy mall is 50 percent and the key anchor present in the mall is Big Bazaar.
