Wave City Centre, Noida to have 8.5 lakh sq.ft. retail space

Wave Infratech has recently announced the launch of Wave City Centre, a mixed use development located in Noida sector 25A and 32 covering 152 acres. Spread over a total built-up area of 40 million sq.ft., the project will have over 100-storey tower, convention center, 4-and 5-star hotels, business hotel, offices, premium serviced residences, serviced multi-use studios, mall, and entertainment facilities. The project will be completed in three phases with an estimated cost of approx Rs 10,000 crore.

One of the USP of the development is touted to be a collection of high-street shop condominiums. The shopping zone will occupy 8.5 lakh sq.ft. area available in sizes of 60 sq.m, 74 sq.m, 75 sq.m, 78 sq.m, and 90 sq.m. It will house ground + 2 floors with independent entry and exit points for the shopping condominiums, allowing direct access to the specific point of visit. The facade of the high-street shops will be made of glass having uniform and pre-demarcated signage spaces.

According to Manpreet Singh Chadha, Joint Managing Director, Wave Group: “Our triple-level high street shop condominiums possess all the vibrancy of high street shopping without the drawbacks. For shoppers, our multi-dimensional condominiums are more satisfying than conventional malls. These are not shopping hubs, but highly experiential areas where consumers are immersed in different activities.”

The shopping condominiums are said to have pedestrian-friendly pathways, underground parking, open landscaped areas, and sidewalk cafes. Besides it will also allow retailers to expand with multi-purpose above-ground levels suitable for service, repair, store, offers and, more retail space.

Other features of the project are: three-level basement parking facility for more than 43,000 four-wheelers, 45 percent ground coverage / and 30 percent green or open area, and private internal transport system within the project – PRT (Port Rapid Transit)
