Radha, a Kolkata-based accessory store, has recently opened an outlet at Inorbit mall, Bangalore. Spread over 600 sq.ft. and opened with an investment of approximately Rs 60 lakh, the store stocks modern and traditional fashion jewellery, head gears, hair accessories, bags, clutches, and jewellery for kids.
This is the fifth outlet of the brand in the country. The price range of accessories falls between Rs 50 and Rs 5,000.
Speaking on the occasion, Deepak Bajoria, Director of Radha, said: “We aim to rock Bangalore and since we are located in the heart of IT zone, our expectations are much high and our sale target is 1.5 crore.”
Bajoria is hopeful that they will be able to break-even within a year and also said that they will spend 7 percent of the total investment budget on advertisement.
Radha is planning to open four stores by the end of this fiscal. It will also launch one store in Spencer`s Galleria, Kolkata, by the end of 2012, two in Bangalore, and one in Hyderabad.
