Speaking on the occasion, Ajay Seth, COO, Evok, said: “Evok’s primary focus is on ready-made solid wood furniture, a concept we introduced in the market in 2008. From then on, Evok has earned the appreciation of the consumers and grew in strength both in product offering and spreading its footprint gradually across the country. We are very excited with the launch of our store in Mumbai, 17th in the country. HyperCITY and Evok cater to a set of audience which are alike and we believe, this association will benefit the end consumers around Andheri, Goregaon, Malad, and the catchment areas. Western India is a priority market for Evok owing to its vibrant and modern outlook, thus Mumbai holds great significance.”
Mark Ashman, CEO, HyperCity added: ‘To bring Indian shoppers a world-class retailing experience has always been our intention. We partner with leading brands who match our vision and purpose, which Evok brings to the fore. There has been a dearth of a major organised player catering to home furnishing and solutions around the area, and our new store will bridge the gap.”
