Starbucks has launched Pike Place Roast coffee in India. Freshly roasted, grounded and brewed, the roast is inspired by the first store in Seattle, Washington’s Pike Place Market and pays tribute to Starbucks heritage and the company’s signature roasting and blending expertise. The coffee will be available across all Sarbucks stores in India.
According to the company officials, the roast has been created based on customer feedback and has a distinct combination of coffees. Having a smooth and balanced taste, the cocoa and toasted nuts flavour goes well with chocolate, cinnamon, and nuts.
The Pike Place Roast (50 gms Roast & Ground coffee pack) is priced at Rs 300 and is prepared from 100 percent responsibly grown and ethically traded beans.
Starbucks is present in India through a 50:50 joint venture with Tata Global Beverages. Starbucks Coffee Company has more than 17,000 stores around the globe.
