Tell us about your new venture ‘Just Shahnaz’.
Established in 1971 in Delhi, today Shahnaz Husain is a leading brand name in the field of Ayurvedic beauty care. Having extended on franchise business model, the interests of the Shahnaz Husain Group span a global network of over 400 franchise ventures that include salons, spas and beauty training institutes. The group also manufactures and retails nearly 375 formulations for beauty and healthcare in India and abroad. We are now offering yet another opportunity to associate with us by becoming the franchisee of our newly launched retail store concept, called “Just Shahnaz.” All our product ranges for herbal / Ayurvedic beauty care will be available in these retail outlets.
What are your expectations from it?
Our products are distributed across the globe. We have Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) stores by the name of Shahnaz Husain in Delhi. Opening of Just Shahnaz retail stores via the franchise route will help us to further penetrate the already existing market and reach out to more customers.
What are you offering to prospective franchisees?
The concept of Just Shahnaz is based on Franchise owned Franchise operated (FOFO) business model. In addition to strong branding, the franchise partners will benefit from our world renowned products with proven success rate and efficacy. The company will assist the franchisees in site selection, project development, staff recruitment, store launch and marketing as well. We will also advise on shop design so that each outlet has a uniform look and feel in conformity to our brand identity and standards.
What kind of training and support will be given?
Free start up training will be given to the franchisee’s staff in areas like products, services, operations and client handling. The company will deploy trained beauty advisers in all outlets to sell and educate the customers about the products. Moreover, strict quality control will be maintained through senior sales staff, beauty advisor supervisors and trainers who will regularly visit the franchise locations to keep checks on systems and operations.
Please share your expansion plans.
We plan to open 200 Just Shahnaz stores at pan India level during 2014. In the first phase of expansion, we will be targeting metros, mini metros, Tier 1 and 2 cities across the country.
