Global Desi, the boho-chic label, has opened its first outlet in Bhopal, 63rd exclusive brand outlet in the country, at D B Mall, Arera Hills. Spread over 549 sq.ft., the store offers the Spring Summer 2014 “Mela” collection offering fusion-wear fashion inspired by the Indian mela.
Speaking on the occasion, Anita Dongre, Creative Director, Global Desi, said: “We are happy to bring the Global Desi spirit to Bhopal with the launch of our first exclusive brand outlet. The Global Desi girl is spirited, fun, and adventurous with an infectious bohemian vibe, she loves to experiment with the latest styles and trends. The new store is infused with this philosophy and continues to offer edgy yet eclectic fashion pieces appealing to the “boho chic” girl in all of us.”
The outlet stocks shift dresses, sheer maxis, printed crop tops, skirts, shorts, bralets, printed jackets and midi skirts in fabrics like LIVA, georgettes, and chiffon priced Rs 1,099 onwards.
Launched in 2007, Global Desi is currently available at exclusive brand outlets and multi brand stores across the country. It opened its first outlet in Mauritius in 2013.
