Rational Launches SelfCookingCenter 5 Senses

Must Read

Professional cooking appliance manufacturer Rational has launched its SelfCookingCenter 5 Senses in India and claims that it is the first intelligent cooking system that senses, recognises, thinks ahead, learns from a chef, and even communicates with him. The new Rational unit includes a variety of typical Indian food items like Pulao, Tandoori, Dal, and Samosa.

Commenting on the launch of SelfCookingCenter 5 Senses, Pinaki Banerjee, Director, India, Rational, said: “It was important for us to develop technology that supports chefs, works for them, understands them, knows what they need and always and consistently delivers the desired results according to their specifications.”

The SelfCookingCenter is exclusively developed for Indian cuisine like Pulao, Tandoori, Dal, and Samosa. “For Rational it is important to deliver Indian chefs a solution for their local requirements. With the new SelfCookingCenter 5 Senses we offer our customers the new standard of cooking appliance for the Indian cuisine. Traditional Indian dishes like fish tikka, paneer makhani, chicken biryani or idli can be done in this single unit,” said Banerjee.

According to Pinaki, the new SelfCooking Center senses the current cooking chamber conditions and the consistency of the food. It recognises the size, load quantity and condition of the products and calculates the appropriate browning by itself. It thinks ahead by determining the ideal cooking path to the desired result, i.e. the manner in which a product must be cooked, during the cooking process itself. It also learns the preferred cooking habits of the user and implements them. Not only that, it also communicates with the chef and continuously shows him what it does to implement the specifications.

“This makes the SelfCookingCenter 5 Senses the first cooking system fitted with real intelligence because it makes decisions by itself and even communicates these. But only the chef decides the final result for the food. “It was important for us to let the chef take a final call. The SelfCookingCenter 5 Senses merely implements his wishes, though perfectly, as a reliable assistant”, he stated.

Pinaki further added: “We have equipped the SelfCookingCenter 5 Senses with all major functions so that all baked goods look and taste like they come from the baker.”
