Massive Restaurants will expand its brand portfolio with the launch of modern Indian bistro, Farzi Cafe in Cyber Hub, Gurgaon by mid July, 2014. With the carpet area of 4000 sq ft, the restaurant will have offer seating capacity of 120 customers.
“After the launch and resonant success of premium Indian fine dining restaurant, Masala Library by Jiggs Kalra in Mumbai, we want to introduce a modern Indian bistro and tapas concept, Farzi Cafe. It will be a fun filled Indian café concept, where guests will experience the finest modern Indian food, prepared by using strong elements of molecular gastronomy for showcasing some of the iconic dishes from around the country and some of the popular dishes from around the world. It will be located next to our smart casual dining restaurant, Made in Punjab,” comments Zorawar Kalra, Founder and Managing Director of Massive Restaurants.
He adds, “We selected location based on resounding success of Made in Punjab, great footfall, and also I feel it is the correct location to launch a new concept due to the well heeled nature of the visiting clientele.”
At Farzi Cafe, the average bill size for two will Rs 2000 and the brand targets customers who would prefer Indian and global street food with a twist. The brand claims to be only molecular gastronomy restaurant in the NCR.
Zorawar Kalra launched Massive Restaurants in December 2012. Mentored by his father, renowned, Jiggs Kalra, Massive Restaurants was launched in partnership with India’s leading hospitality brand, Mirah Hospitality, which is a part of Rs 800 crore, Mirah Group.
