Hackett has become the official supplier and outfitter to the Lawn Tennis Association’s (LTA) British Series of Tournaments until 2016.
The three-year deal will see Hackett dressing the line judges in smart, but practical clothing that befits their role as sporting officials whereas the stewards who are present around the club throughout the event will be stylishly dressed in navy blazers, gingham shirts and pale blue chinos. This British summer event will run from 9 to 15 June and is expected to be graced by many of the top players like Andy Murray, Thomas Berdych, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, who have confirmed along with past winner and crowd favourite Lleyton Hewitt.
Commenting on the partnership, Hackett Founder and Chairman Jeremy Hackett says, “Hackett has built up a reputation as a player in the tennis world and the Aegon Championships at The Queen’s Club is a natural progression for us. It also takes part just a stone’s throw from our Kings Road store, where the brand began all those years ago.”
LTA Commercial Director James Mercer added: “We are thrilled that Hackett is joining the LTA’s family of sponsors. It’s an exciting time with a number of new brands joining forces with British Tennis to help drive year round interest in this wonderful sport. With style and heritage at the core of their brand, Hackett is a fitting match for tennis and we very much look forward to working with them.”
