The Kaira District Co-operative Milk Producers Union Limited (KDCMPUL), Amul Dairy, has appointed K Rathnam as the MD of the co-operative union, according to a leading daily.
The paper mentions that Rathnam was already the in-charge MD of Amul Dairy since March after Rahul Kumar, the former MD of Amul Dairy, left the co-operative union to join Le Groupe Lactalis.
Having spent some 20 years with Amul, Rathnam hails from Tamil Nadu’s Salem district. He joined Amul Dairy in 1995 as deputy manager (product development).
Rathnam completed his graduation from Coimbatore and is a postgraduate from Sardar Patel University.
