Biba Opens 150th Store in India at Bangalore

­­Ethnic wear retailer Biba has opened its 150th store in India at Bangalore. Spread over 2,200 sq.ft., the outlet stocks a collection of SKD’s (Salwar Kameez Dupatta), Mix n Match Kurtas, Ready to Stitch Fabrics, Biba by Rohit Bal, leggings, Loungers and Biba Girls, a segment catering to 2-12 year old girls.

Commenting on the launch, Siddhartha Bindra, Managing Director, Biba, said: “We are delighted with the launch of our milestone 150th store pan India in Bangalore. With the launch of this premium store we have strengthened our approach toward the Southern Region. Biba has strived to offer the best to its customer in ethnic wear category, owing to its rich design and style. With the launch of our premium store in Bangalore, we hope to enhance our customers’ shopping experience and showcase ALL our product categories to the fullest”

Started by Meena Bindra from her house in Bombay with a partly sum of eight thousand in 1988, Biba entered into a joint venture agreement with fashion designer Manish Arora to promote his premium ethnic wear brand – ‘INDIAN by Manish Arora’, marking its foray in the bridal and luxury ethnic wear category.

Currently, Biba products are available through 150 exclusive outlets across 60 cities, apart from presence in all the major retail chains in the country like Shopper’s Stop, Lifestyle, Pantaloons and Central.
