Bomb Cosmetics is a bath and skin care brand from UK. The handmade products are designed to be visually appealing and fragrant. Bomb products are made with moisturising ingredients like pure essential oils, generous quantities of natural butter like shea and cocoa, having a neutral ph level to stop the skin from drying out. Bomb guarantees to provide extensive care to the skin and hair. Known to have a therapeutic effect, the products revitalises and hydrates the skin. Bomb’s products will be widely available across all premium salons and spa’s across the country; with an introductory offer for the consumer, free spa slippers with every pedicure done.
USP
Brought to India by Streamline Services India (SSI), Bomb Products claim to have created a niche for themselves. SSI has invested heavily in creating a consumer demand through different marketing approaches. “The mani-pedi category is a very mature category/service in salons these days; but there was a much required intervention needed to redefine this service with luxury.” explained Ankit Arora, CEO, SSI.
Challenges
Arora shared that marketing expenses are huge and include investments in training, as the line of products are unique, and requires procedural training in salons. Hence, education is challenging.
Future
SSI will soon be adding Bomb’s home fragrances to the range– candles, oils and air fragrances that can be used at spas, salons or at-home and in cars. There is an array of fragrances like the Christmas specials and seasonal ones. Bomb will venture into massage oils in the next few months. SSI will also launch Brahmastra brands, soon.
