India’s Other Made Up Textile Articles Exports Rise to US$ 402.5 M in August- 2014

InfodriveIndia.com, an Indian research company in export import market research, has recently announced  that India’s other made up textile articles, sets, worn clothing, worn textile articles and rags exports in August- 2014 has grew to US$ 402.5 M, an increase of 5.49 percent compared to July 2014.

This finding is based on India other made up textile articles, sets, worn clothing, worn textile articles and rags export data of InfodriveIndia.com and is based on export shipping bills filed at Indian customs by exporters from India through August- 2014 at more than 110 ports in India like JNPT, Bombay Air and Sea, Chennai Air & Sea , Delhi IGI Air, Delhi Tughlakhabad ICD, Delhi Patparganj, Kolkata Air and Sea, Bangalore Air and many more.

According to Pradeep, Chief Research Associate of InfodriveIndia.com, compared to July 2014, an increase of USD 402.5 M in August- 2014 has been noticed. He further gives a analysis and break up of major product categories , major countries and major Indian ports under Other made up textile articles, sets, worn clothing, worn textile articles and rags as follows :

A. Exports of Other Furnishing Articles has grew month on month basis by 21.8 percent.

Total value of exports in August- 2014 was 171.34 M, compared to July 2014 , there is a increase of 30.67 M in August- 2014, growth rate in percentage terms is 21.8 percent, the major destination countries were United States, Germany, United Kingdom, France and Australia and major Indian ports were JNPT, Mundra, Tuticorin Sea, Madras Sea and Tuticorin ICD.

B. Exports of bed linen, table linen, toilet linen and kitchen linen has fallen month on month basis by -3.61 percent.

Total value of exports in August- 2014 was 113.36 M, compared to July 2014 , there is a decrease of -4.24 M in August- 2014, growth rate in percentage terms is -3.61 percent, the major destination countries were United States, United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany and Australia and major Indian ports were JNPT, Mundra, Ludhiana ICD, Tuticorin Sea and Delhi TKD ICD.

C. Exports of Sacks and Bags used for the Packing of Goods has grew month on month basis by 6.48 percent.

Total value of exports in August- 2014 was 50.21 M, compared to July 2014 , there is a increase of 3.06 M in August- 2014, growth rate in percentage terms is 6.48 percent, the major destination countries were United States, Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom and France and major Indian ports were Calcutta Sea, JNPT, Tuticorin Sea, Mundra and Ahmedabad ICD.

D. Exports of Other made up Articles including Dress Patterns has fallen month on month basis by -11.65%.

Total value of exports in August- 2014 was 32.46 M, compared to July 2014, there is a decrease of -4.28 M in August- 2014, growth rate in percentage terms is -11.65 percent, the major destination countries were United States, United arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Tanzania and Germany and major Indian ports were JNPT, Tuticorin Sea, Madras Sea, Tuticorin ICD and Mundra.
