Fashion designer Sikandar Nawaz showcased his Autumn Winter 2014-15 haute couture collection Zubeida at The Grand, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The collection was unveiled at the Haute couture show presented by DD Developers in association with Reliance Property.
The collection is a mixture of various styles, colours and fabrics that capture opulence from the Mughal era, for it is the turn back of time for the imperial craft and design to rule the charts. Jewellery embroidery with Swarovski crystals on neck and cuffs, velvet and gota patchwork, semi-precious stones like emerald and the delicacy of zardozi, beautifully create the majestic aura.
Conceived with a rare and exquisite blend of colours, delicately crafted by the masters of the trade, each garment from Zubeida is a piece of art. The nine meter flare of the lehenga and the clean cuts of sherwani, stand out amazingly well owing to the finesse of intricate handwork, and complementing accessories that adorn the outfits.
