Burger King, one of the world’s premier hamburger chain opened its first outlet in Mumbai at Oberoi Mall, Goregaon. The global chain of hamburger fast food restaurants is headquartered in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States.
Burger King has unveiled a segregated menu here in India offering Veg, Chicken and Mutton Whoppers (pronunciation: “Whaw-per”). It’s a complete delight for the customers who now have an additional tempting food brand to choose from along with the already popular ones existing at the mall.
Commenting on the launch, Nirzar Jain – Vice-President Oberoi Mall said, “We are elated to be the first ones to bring the American fast-food giant Burger King in the city to our mall. We believe there’s a consumer trend growing towards trying out varied cuisines available across the globe. And bringing Burger King to Oberoi Mall, helps us cater to our discerning customers”

Burger King has recently forayed in India by opening their first store in Select CITYWALK Mall, Delhi. The fast food giant plans to open 12 stores in India in the next 60-90 days. Burger King India will also actively consider starting home delivery after the launch of the first 12 restaurants.
