Jewellery retailer Tanishq has announced that it would shortly increase the footprint of its sub brand Mia which is largely targetted to young working women, apart from its regular Tanishq stores.
Speaking more on same, Sandeep Kulhalli, Sr.VP, Jewellery Division, Titan Company Limited, says, “We plan to launch 20 more stores, mostly in mall locations. We would also continue to grow the brand through shop-in-shop model. In fact, we are also looking exclusive E-commerce platform for Mia brand.”
Presently, Mia is largely retailed through shop-in-shop stores located at Shoppers Stop, Lifestyle stores and other large format stores.
Speaking more on expansion he added, “For Tanishq, we are planning 20 stores year on year basis. By the end of this financial year we are planning to open around 17-18 store and we have already opened six store so far. The location of these new stores would be all across India.”
He also informed that the company is planning to close the current financial year with 20 per cent growth from last financial year.
Tanishq jewellery, from the Tata Group, has been synonymous with superior craftsmanship, exclusive designs and guaranteed product quality. Tanishq, offers gold and gem-set jewellery (in 22 and 18 karat gold) in over 5000 traditional, western and fusion looks.
